Orange Belt

I had the privilege of watching my son test for his orange belt at karate Tuesday night. This has been a long time coming and he has worked hard for this achievement. I was overjoyed to watch my child accomplish something like this. Karate has been beneficial for Isaac for many reasons. Isaac has learned some very valuable lessons, like the perseverance, hard work, discipline, and respect for authority. These he will carry with him for the rest of his life. Isaac was very happy to now be an orange belt. I took him out for a celebratory ice cream after his test. I think he deserved the mint chocolate chip ice cream! So proud of my boy!!

Congratulations Isaac! That's quite an accomplishment! I think I'm going to watch myself around you now that you're an Orange Belt!
Love you! Aunt Karen
