This year Isaac wanted a Laser Tag party at Laser Legend. We usually don't do the package parties at places, but decided to splurge this year for his 8th birthday. I have to admit it was great being able to just show up with the cake and presents and letting the workers do the rest.
I had a friend take pictures for me because my camera was not working at the time. Thanks Jess for being my personal photographer for the day!

That evening we spent together as a family at home. Isaac requested shrimp, shrimp, and more shrimp for his birthday dinner. So that is what I made for him and it actually was pretty good. Isaac also wanted to have a countdown to his actual birth time at 5:30 p.m. So we counted down and rang in his official birthday with miniature Dr. Peppers. Of all the gifts Isaac got for his birthday, his favorite by far was the muli-tool that Gabe gave him. He feels so grown up now!
