This week my older two are spending time with Ma (Gabe's Mom) in Arkansas. I miss them terribly but I am also enjoying having some one on one time with Caleb. I think he is enjoying it as well. He is getting all of mine and Gabe's attention and he gets to play unhindered by older siblings. To say the least, Caleb has been giddy. Tuesday I took my little buddy to the zoo, one of his favorite places. Caleb is by far my biggest animal lover. What fun it was to explore the zoo with just him. We saw whatever he wanted to see and on Tuesday he was intent on seeing the hippos. We couldn't get to the hippos fast enough and once there he didn't want to leave. Thankfully the hippos were being pretty active that day or as active as a hippo can get. We went all over the zoo, enjoyed a picnic lunch, went to the petting zoo, and ended our day with a train ride. So much fun! Our adventures tuckered him out. He was asleep before we got made it out of the parking lot. He is such a sweet boy. I enjoy every minute with him.
