Julia's Gymnastics

This past year we let Julia try out gymnastics. She fell in love with it. She has come a long this year. I have watched as her coordination has steadily improved as she learned to bend and balance her body. At the end of May she participated in the Mini-Olympics held at her gym. Basically the gymnasts showcased all they have learned and earned ribbons and a medal. They even had an awards ceremony. She was beaming when we showed us her ribbons and her medal. One proud little girl!! The classes are off for the summer, but she has already decided she wants to continue with gymnastics next year. In the mean time, Julia is going to join Gabe and Isaac at karate. She will be one of the few girls in there, but that's okay. She doesn't seem to mind.
