McAllister Park

On Labor day we took the kids to McAllister Park in San Antonio. We picnicked, played, hiked, and even launched a few rockets.(I got to launch one too -- loved it!!) Other than the sizzling heat (I vote for an early appearance of fall), it was a pleasant day. Well, except for the screaming 4 year old and 2 year old on the hiking trail. I don't know whose kids they were, but man they sure ruined a peaceful walk on the trails!! ; ) We ended our day with friends and a BBQ....using our new kazeebo, of course!! Lots of fun!

Such a "girly girl"!!! Julia had a MAJOR fit about getting "mud" on her feet. There was no mud in sight, just plain ol' dirt. She absolutely refused to walk on the trail. We are going camping in a few weeks, so she better get over this "I don't want to get dirty" thing!

Looks like another fun Landes family event!! I just can't imagine your two sweet angelic children breaking the magical silence of the woods!! ;-)
And so funny about Julia...yeah, as much as you guys like to get outdoors, she will have to get over the "getting dirty" thing!
Thanks for sharing the pics!

Love these pictures. I love how Julia didn't want to have her feet muddy. Same thing happen to Mickey on our walk at my mom's house.
