My mother-in-law is very patriotic. I don't know that I have ever encountered someone that loves our country the way she does. She just recently gave our family a few books, one of which is called, We the People by Lynne Cheney. As I was reading this book to Isaac and Julia the other night, Isaac started spouting off the "Pledge of Allegiance". I would love to take credit for this but I can't. He actually learned the pledge at AWANA, which explains his confusion with the AWANA pledge. A few things to know as you watch this video..... Isaac is no doubt a perfectionist. It absolutely drives him nutty to not be able to do something just right the first time. But with persistence he finally got it right (almost right anyway!!) You will absolutely love this Ma!!
As I was showing Gabe this video he laughed and said to Isaac, " Now if you can just get the Republican Party platform memorized, surely Ma will buy you a new car and put you through college!!"
