The concept of the "knock knock joke" is completely lost on my children. Granted, they are only 2 and 4 years old (well, almost 5). Gabe's aunts gave Isaac a book while we were in Arkansas called "The Best Knock Knock Jokes Ever". So at breakfast this morning I was reading the jokes to the kids. They decided to try their hand at joke telling. Here is Julia's joke that she made up......
Julia: "Knock, Knock"
Momma: "Who's There?"
Julia: "Me"
Momma: "Me who?"
Julia: "Me Julia" (giggle, giggle)
And Isaac's, of course......
Isaac: "Knock, Knock'
Momma: "Who's there?"
Isaac: "Knock, Knock"
Momma: "Knock, Knock who?"
Isaac: "Knock, Knock on your head!!"
Ok, maybe he gets the humor just a little bit! Fun times!!
