Tooth Fairy

Isaac has lost his second tooth! It bothered him so much on Monday. Enough to keep him extra distracted during school. Like we need anymore distractions. Anyway, it was at that stage where it was just barely hanging on but he wasn't ready to have it pulled out. Before bed that night I was rubbing some orajel on his gums around the tooth and it popped right out! We never did anything with his first tooth (we're slackers, I know) So we put both teeth in a baggie and asked him if he wanted to put them under his pillow for the tooth fairy. He said sure, but he knew there was no such thing as a tooth fairy. Can't get anything past him! We played it up and pretended with him, all the while knowing that it was just a game. Later that night Gabe did quite a stealth job with the teeth-money exchange. The next morning Isaac discovered the baggie with some change in it under his pillow. He looked right at me and said, "so how did you get this in here without waking me up" I could honestly say to him that I did not take his teeth and put money in the bag...... I just watched from afar as his Papa did the deed! Isaac is very proud to be toothless again. The extra jingle in his pocket doesn't hurt either!!
