Arkansas

We enjoyed our week in Arkansas to visit Gabe's side of the family. We usually visit in the summer but I think early October was a better time to go. The weather was PERFECT! The kids spent very little time indoors. And we also got to visit with Gabe's brother Matt and his family because they now live in AR as well. It was a two for one kind of trip. Can't beat that!! I will let the pictures tell the story of our adventures and fun....

Julia and Sarabeth. They had fun playing together all week.

Sweet picture

Caleb was, of course, enthralled with Rowdy.

Playing at the Barn

Precious Little Princesses! SB and Julia played dress up one  day. They were so cute twirling and dancing in the yard.

Awww......

Twirling and dancing!!

This one is a little blurry, but had to post it. Love the look on her face and her princess dress hiked up so she can ride her horse

Princess wave

Love my darling daughter

Daddy- daughter dance

Didn't get many pictures of Isaac during the week. He was always off exploring something!

Picking wildflowers (aka: weeds) for Ma

Julia attempting to teach Sarabeth to read. I don't think the lesson lasted very long!

Nathan's "cheese" face

Nathan rockin' a mohawk

These two left alone together unsupervised, could mean trouble

Look at those sweet little boy faces

Ready for a ride

Isaac is growing up so fast

Ready to "help" which I think turned into ready to "play"

Shooting the BB gun

Julia wanted to try - her first time

And Caleb, who makes a gun out of any and everything!

This poor cat got "loved" on all week

Baking cookies with Ma. Love how she is looking up at Betty. Sweet memories

Little baker

Yes, Isaac was mighty proud of his shorts, boots, and cowboy hat combo!

I don't know where my kids get their silliness from

My new favorite picture of Caleb

This boy loves his nanas

How many little boys can  you fit in a truck?

Isaac got to go traipsing through the woods with Uncle Matt and his Papa.

Isn't he a handsome young man?
There you have it. That was our trip to AR. Already looking forward to our visit at Christmas.
