e·lab·o·rate

e·lab·o·rate - Planned or executed with painstaking attention to numerous parts or details. Intricate and rich in detail. To work out with care in detail ; develop thoroughly. To express at greater length or in greater detail.

**WARNING** This video is loooooong and just might bore your socks off!! However, it is a prime example of what we hear from Isaac everyday! It is a never ending flood of his little mind at work. Isaac has the tendency to be intricate with detail and descriptions as you can plainly see in the video. He is currently fascinated with space. He often chooses for us to read science books to him at bedtime, instead of story books. (though he is currently enjoying the chapter book, Paddington the Bear)

Ever since we opened up Gabe's legos from his childhood that is all that Isaac wants to play with. While Julia naps in the afternoons, Isaac has "quiet time" in his room. For two hours straight, he sits at his table and builds with his legos. He has quite a little city built already. I absolutely love the creativity and imagination. Legos are AWESOME!!!!

Wow - you watched the whole video! I even cut out big chunks to condense it. Amazing how much he can talk.

I am utterly flabbergasted--Isaac is utterly amazing. You ought to submit this to some home video show. Course, they wouldn't be able to play the whole thing--maybe--but it might just win something. Really, he has not only a huge vocabulary for his age but so much understanding and imagination.

A great video. Good job, Isaac! Ma

I absolutely agree with Betty...I was completely blown away by his understanding of all of that...compressors, gas tanks, gravity...I mean, how many 4 1/2 yr old boys can discuss something like that in such detail!
I just loved watching the whole video...it was so neat to see him in his natural element!
Thank you for sharing that insight of Isaac!

I love his little voice!!What a smart boy. And I agree with Gabe, Legos ARE still fun!! (I didn't get to watch the whole thing. I had to recuse Molly from the stairs. She is such a little monkey!!)

I LOVE IT!There is noooo question he is Gabe's child, in fact, I am beginning to suspect cloning! Twenty-five minutes, huh? I shared a room with Captain Kirk for nearly two decades. ~beep beep~ "Captain's journal... Ineeed... more...legooss!" You can pretty much exhaust every subject that has to do with space, quantum physics, and the like when you have a captive audience in the bunk below you every night. Right, Gabe? Seriously, though, we definitely need to get Isaac down here for a weekend and take him to NASA!! Be sure he brings that space station, though. They might be able to help him out with that nasty bug problem he's having in the space attic!
