The kids and I got to spend the weekend with my sister and her family this past weekend. I so love being with my big sis!!! We spent the morning on Saturday at the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco. This zoo is quite different than San Antonio's zoo. Cameron park has more natural habitats for the animals. Loved it! The only draw back to the morning at the zoo was the heat. It was 87 when we got there at 9am and it was 97 when we left at 11:30. H-O-T!!! And for me it felt like it was 107!!

Both Karen and Jared helped push the stroller which can get pretty heavy when both kids need a ride.

To cool off the kids jumped into their bathing suits when we got back to my sister's house and played out back in the sprinkler for at least 2 hours. My nephew Jared jumped in and joined the fun. They had water gun and sprinkler wars (mainly between Jared and Isaac) for most of the time. It was so funny to watch.

It was a fabulous weekend. We got home last night to discover that Gabe had indeed finished painting both rooms and it looked FANTASTIC!!! Gabe did such a good job. He got the bunk bed set up and the kids spent their first night together as roommates in their new room. Isaac liked his bed so much that he slept until 8am which rarely, if ever, happens around here. I will post pictures of the kids' room when it is completely finished.
