Overheard at the Landes House

Every morning the kids and I read from a book called, Someone Awesome by Larry Libby. Each section answers a question like....

*If God made everything, then who made God?

OR

*Why doesn't God talk to me out loud?

So today's question was, "Where was Jesus before He was born?" I always ask Isaac and Julia their thoughts before we read each section. Isaac's answer to this question was that Jesus was in heaven, of course. (said with emphasis on the 'of course') Julia's answer was "Um, Jejus (that's how she says His name - SO CUTE!) was in his Mommy's tummy. Duh." Well, if you want to get technical - then yes, Julia you are right!!

By the way, the book I referred to above is apart of a series that also deals with heaven and angels. I have really enjoyed reading and discussing them with the kids. The writing is beautifully descriptive and engaging for little minds and as a bonus the artwork is gorgeous. So check them out if you can find them. Worth it!
