The other day the north wind started blowing and Isaac, who had been outside, came in saying "That's it. I have changed my mind. I don't want to move to Antarctica when I grow up after all. Maybe I should move to Africa instead."
What makes that extra funny to me is that we live in Texas, South Texas at that. We don't really see true winter weather around here. The average winter around here is pretty mild. We get some cold snaps but compared with those up north, highs in the 40's can't really be considered a cold snap. He has no idea what cold really is.
Both Isaac and Julia are already daydreaming about slip and slides, trips to the beach, and our neighborhood swimming pool. Of course, I don't help much when I take them shopping for bathing suits in February. Guess I am ready for spring and summer to get here too!
Side Note: What is it with moving to Africa? Both Isaac and Julia have made comments about moving there when they grow up. Do I have some future missionaries?! At least they wouldn't be cold!!
