Zoo

We have managed to have a little fun in the midst of this chaotic life we have led for the past month. Our kids have had to put up with so much lately. Good thing that they have each other and can entertain themselves. I have just felt bad that Gabe and I have been so busy with the house that we haven't had much quality time with them just doing kid things. So one day the kids and I escaped this crazy house and headed to the zoo.

This was Caleb's first trip to the zoo. He liked it. He was just happy to be out of the house and seeing the world. He loves to be "out and about". The weather was gorgeous and we soaked in as much fresh air as we could.

We usually picnic around noon and leave the zoo around 1pm. On this day we stayed and stayed and stayed. I think we all needed a break from our house and the never ending project. We didn't leave the zoo until well after 3:30. It was a much needed break and it felt so good.
