Well, another year has past. Julia finished her first year of Cubbies and Isaac finished his first year of Sparks. It has been a great year filled with lots of Scripture memory, fun times, and wonderful memories. I am extremely proud of my oldest two and their AWANA accomplishments this year. Julia got to be on stage at the Awards ceremony to sing a few songs with her Cubbie friends. Isaac sang a few songs as well and received a ribbon and certificate for completing his first Sparks book.
I do not know what the little boy next to her was doing. I promise you, Julia did not punch him in the gut!!
Though we enjoy AWANA on Wednesday nights, it is nice to have a break for the summer. Gabe already has plans for next Wednesday night to go kayaking with a friend!! Ahhh... bring on the summer!!!
