10 Months

I know, I know.... four days ago Caleb turned 11 months old. I am a wee bit behind! Hopefully I can get his 11 month post up before his 1st birthday!

Here is what Caleb was up at 10 months old......

Caleb was fully weaned from nursing right at the 10 month mark. He went one month longer than Isaac and Julia. He has always taken a bottle really well and had already been taking formula, so this transition was no big thing. He took it all in stride, like he does with most everything.

Caleb had started to take a few steps but only when prompted. Crawling is still the preferred mode of travel. I am not rushing him though because I know all too well what comes after walking..... running, climbing, etc.

He has always been very curious and is into EVERYTHING. Want proof? Here ya go.....

(remind you of any other little boy at this age?!!)

Caleb is in love with Oliver. He wants to be near him, climb in his dog bed with him, pet him... you name it. Oliver on the other hand is not too happy about this adoration from Caleb. He tolerates it, but could definitely live without it. It is funny because when Oliver sees Caleb heading his way he immediately submits and rolls over onto his back. It is like he is saying, "Ok, let's just get this over with" Bonus for Oliver, he gets a nice tummy rub and an eye poke or two, but who's keeping track?!

Caleb is still eating baby food and being spoon fed. I have not ventured much into letting him self feed with utensils yet, but he loves to pick up and eat finger foods. He is still nutty for his Mum Mums. They are truly manna from heaven as far as I am concerned!!

Caleb has always been an easy going little guy. For the most part, he just goes with the flow. Kinda have to when you are the third child, huh?! He has been sleeping through the night since he was 5 weeks old and honestly I can't think of one night that I have been up with him for any extended amount of time. Huge blessing! He loves to laugh, giggle, play peek-a-boo, and of course follow his big bro and sis around. His favorite of all favorites is his blue blankie. As soon as he comes near his blanket, he immediately cuddles it. So cute!

I can not believe how fast this year has flown by. I am a little taken aback that I am already planning for his first birthday. Before I know it, I will be planning his eighteenth.... sniff, sniff.
