Overheard at the Landes House
This morning Julia was talking to me about how God loves our beauty inside and it doesn't matter what you wear or what you look like. She recently watched Veggie Tales, Sweet Pea Beauty. Great message and one I want to instill in my children, especially Julia, at an early age. So she goes on to tell me that she really wants to go to Africa and feed the children (we've heard this before haven't we?!! - she really has a heart for the people of Africa) She runs into her room and runs back out all excited saying that she checked her money bank and the giving is the most full. Her eyes light up talking about giving that money away. There I am having a warm and fuzzy moment with my daughter, delighting in her heart for others, when she suddenly looks up at me and says, "I also like to lick myself" and promptly licks her arm. Brought me back to reality....even though she wants to serve those in need, she is still a four year old little girl who apparently likes to lick her arm!!!

That is TOO funny! Yep! Nothing like a 4 yr old mind to bring things into perspective! :-)

ah! hahahaah!!! Tooooo funny! :)
She's so funny! We just watched that Sweet Pea movie for the first time and I think it's one of my favorites for the message it teaches, for both the boys and Leah.
