"Mommy, can I pray?"

This morning as we sat down for breakfast, I asked who would like to pray. Seeing that Isaac and I were the only two candidates for that question, I was giving Isaac an opportunity to choose to pray instead of me asking him to. And he did.

"Thank you God for Mama and Papa, for Julia, and Ma and Pa. I hope we can go back there someday(Arkansas). Thank you for today and Oliver. Amen"

If that wasn't enough to melt your heart, when he finished praying Isaac asked if he could pray again. "Sure, you can talk to God anytime you want", I said. I turned around to see Isaac with folded hands and a bowed head silently praying to our God and Creator, Ruler of Everything, our Abba. Tears sprang to my eyes as I soaked in the moment. He looked up and said, "I prayed to keep Ma and Pa safe."

So Don and Betty, you have been covered in prayer this morning by your grandson!!

I really wanted to comment, "That's m'boy!" But, I'm reminded in my heart that Isaac is His boy. We are only the stewards of these little ones.

Thanks Babe - what a blessing!

I am so blessed by my grandson. Thank you, Isaac, for remembering us to God. We pray for you, too. Ma (I am now at Gabe and Cheryl's and still do not remember my google password.)
