24 Weeks

Last Friday I was officially 24 weeks pregnant. We were in Arkansas at the time so I am a few days behind on this post. All is well according to the doc visit yesterday. Strong heartbeat, measuring right on target..... blah, blah, blah!! I am sure you all don't want to hear all that boring stuff. On to the more exciting things.

Our little guy is getting stronger and stronger. His kicks are very visible. It still amazes me when I see my belly moving that there is a little person in there. I sure will miss feeling my own child move about from within.



I have been feeling great. Just the normal aches and pains of nearing the third trimester. It is already hard for me to bend over. I have jokingly said that I need one of these....


But instead I have two of these.....

Isaac and Julia are quite helpful and I am sure they will continue to help their Momma out as the next few months pass.

I have been sitting here today looking at my summer calendar and realizing that almost every weekend is taken up with something. Which means that our summer is about to fly by. Which also means that I am starting to feel a major need to nest. I am one of those people that needs all things in order before the baby arrives. I want Isaac and Julia settled into their new room. I want the nursery to be completely put together. I NEED organization around here in a bad way. Hopefully soon we will get ahead on some of our projects and I can start "nesting"!!
