100 Easy Lessons!

I have talked about this book, Teach your Child to Read in 100 easy lessons, before. I have used it to teach Isaac and now Julia to read. Some people may not like this book, but it has worked for us. Two for two! Julia just finished her 100th lesson last Friday!!! I started this book with her when she was 3 1/2. As you can see we take our time and go at a pace appropriate for each child. Long before Friday, she became quite an independent reader. She will pick up almost anything and read it. Julia is now begging for a chapter book. You can tell she has an older brother who she wants to copy. I am going to do my best to find my girl a chapter book that is at her level. Got to keep this love of reading alive!!! Way to go Julia Anne Elizabeth!
