Julia is absolutely fascinated with horses right now. She loves to read books about them, she loves to draw them, and she would give anything to ride one. Well, she finally got that chance a few weeks ago at a friend's birthday party. The party was at the birthday girl's grandparents' house and they own several horses. Julia was the first to ride and was beaming from ear to ear. I was too. All the horse riders around said Julia was a natural, sat in the saddle well, and handled the movements like a pro. She was absolutely delighted. She was also offered an open invitation to come out and ride horses again. I haven't shared this with Julia yet, but a couple of months back I bought a horse lesson for her off of groupon. I am waiting for a special day to surprise her with it.
