Tough News

Good thing we never took the sign out of our yard because we got some tough news today about our house. The buyers backed out due to a change in military orders. All of our plans to sell and move have come to a screeching halt. This whole process has been extremely stressful on our family, so it is devastating to start completely over. We will list our house immediately and pray for a buyer to snatch it up within the next few weeks. Beyond that and we will have to back out of pursuing the house we want to buy. EVERYTHING is up in the air - not a comfortable place to be. But God doesn't ask us to be comfortable, He asks us to trust Him in everything. Though I have struggled with this news today, I know without a doubt that God is in control and I trust what He has in store for us... be it a new house or not. This is an opportunity to deepen my intimate relationship with Him.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

Prayer Requests:
*Peace
*Wisdom and Direction for the next step to take
*That the stress of this will not affect my parenting thus affecting Isaac and Julia
*That we will be content with what God has given us
*To continue to trust God's faithfulness and remain confident in His plans for us
*For some sense of 'normalcy' to return to our family life
*For a buyer to buy our house within the next 2 weeks

Thank you for your prayers.

I am so sorry about your news. Will be keeping you and your family in our prayers.

Ephesians 4:16 (I think it is late and I can't be positive). God does abundantly more than we can ask or imagine.

Sometime we just don't know what looks like until we are on the other side of the situation.
