Boogers at the Barn

Heard around the Landes house....

Isaac: "At our next house, I want to build a barn."
Mama: "Why?"
Isaac: "So we can talk about boogers!"

Thanks to Granddaddy (my Dad) for telling Isaac that the only place you can talk about boogers is at the barn. I was just as gullible when I was Isaac's age. My Dad could tell me anything and I took it as the ultimate truth. I learned as I got older to look over Dad's shoulder at my Mom to see if she was rolling her eyes and shaking her head to communicate basically that my Dad was pulling my leg. I love those memories. Especially now that I catch Gabe telling the kids outlandish explanations for things, and what am I doing?...... Rolling my eyes and shaking my head!
