Often you see a guy walking around with the most ratty, filthy hat on.(I say 'guy' because you don't see many girls walking around in hats - except for me!!!) Most would think.... "Why doesn't he get rid of that hat and get a new one?" His answer would probably be, "I just got it broken in!" Sad to say, but I too have a somewhat embarrassing hat that I just can't get rid of. I have had it since college and it fits perfect. The bill is now shredding and it is definitely filthy. Gabe got me a new one for Christmas, but it is just not the same. Sorry Gabe, but it just does not fit right. I refuse to give up my good ol' NIKE hat. I also have this pair of jeans that are SO COMFORTABLE!!! And for someone that has a hard time finding jeans that fit just right, these are a treasure. They now have a pretty significant hole in one knee. Have I thrown them out? No way!!! I will most likely wear them until they become indecent. I have always been more concerned with comfort than style. So if you can just bear with me and look past the shredding and holes, I think I will hold on to these a little longer!

I vote to keep them. :) It is nice to have a couple of comforts, even if the rest of the world doesn't understand why we hold on to some things. Enjoy and maybe that new hat Gabe gave you will one day be as broken in as this one.
