We are all set and ready to head up to my parents' house this weekend. We are going up for an early celebration of Julia's 2nd birthday. Both Isaac and Julia have been beside themselves with anticipation. Every time we even got near the front door today Julia thought it was time to go to Grammy's. When told, "not yet" she tried on that 2 year old temperament for size. It fits!!! Isaac has been busily helping me get ready all day. He spent his quiet time packing two bags full of toys. I went into his room just now to tell him quiet time was over and this is how I found him......
All worn out and happily dreaming of the fun we will have at Granddaddy's and Grammy's house!! Notice the suitcases and blankets in the background!! And by the way, he happened to fall asleep on the floor only a few feet from the door. I am surprised I didn't bang his head when I walked in. Better go wake this sweet boy up and get going. Please don't think I am a total dork for saying this, but this one is for Gabe........ Gotta Jet!!!
