Last Christmas Gabe's brother Jake and his wife Tarah gave the kids a Slip-N-Slide! We busted that thing out of the box today. The weather was true to San Antonio - VERY hot and humid. Isaac and Julia obviously had a blast. Julia could not get over how fun it was and kept repeating over and over, "that fun"! Neither truly grasped quite how to slide. It was funny watching them try though. Finally I offered to help them out a bit. I would grab their arms while they laid down on their tummies,then I would sling them down the slide as they went barreling in to the puddle of water at the end.That was fun for sure!! So thank you Jake and Tarah. I am sure we will be using the Slip-N-Slide quite often this summer.

I remember us having some similar summer fun. Can't wait to relive moments like this with Kyler. Congrats on selling your house, hope you find the perfect home.
no problemo. glad to be of service to you and your kiddos'. so where are the pictures of you and gabe showing them how it's done?!!! you know, they learn better with personal demonstrations.
p.s. don't forget to check for rocks and sticks before you lay the slip-n-slide down...i remember lots of nasty scrapes from our slip-n-slide adventures as kids.
