First Hair Cut at home!!!

We are trying to save a little money around here and being quite successful at it I might say. So with that in mind, I decided to give Isaac his first hair cut at home. NEVER cut a little boys hair before. YIKES!!! Isaac was so patient even though it took forever. After awhile he said, "Just make me bald Momma, it's just hair....it will grow back!" The front looks just fine (surprisingly), but the back is a little spotty to say the least. Think the clippers dug in a little more in some spots than others. I am going to get Gabe to try and mend my mistakes. We'll see if it is beyond repair!! Good thing Isaac's hair grows fast! Oh well, he is a five year old little boy who could care less what his hair looks like. Let's hear it for saving money!!!!


Update1: So Gabe got home and tried to fix my mistakes. His comment.... "this is harder than it looks" Yep, you got that right. He wants me to take him to Great Clips to get it fixed. There goes saving money. Oh well, we tried. :(

Update2: We got home from Great Clips to discover that the trained professional did a worse hack job on Isaac's hair than I did in the first place. SO FRUSTRATING!! Spent money and I still had to fix her mistakes. To fix what the hair dresser did, I basically had to give him a buzz cut. UGH! I am throwing in the towel and the pair of scissors..... this was my last hair cut at home.
