Night Owl
I had to get up last night at 3am to help Julia with some potty needs. As I walked to the bathroom with her I noticed that Isaac's light was on in his room. Did I mention that it was in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT?!! I got finished with Julia and tucked her back in bed then went to Isaac's room. He was sitting in the middle of the floor reading a book, chomping down on some cereal, and frankly having a grand ol' time. He had taken the liberty to get a drink, a bowl of cereal, and just started playing. That boy can thrive on such little sleep. I took him to the window and showed him that it was dark outside. He was shocked and had no idea that it was in the middle of the night. Frustrating and Funny. I wonder how many other nights he has done this with Gabe and I totally unaware?! He was none too happy when I told him to go back to bed. The last I saw of him before I turned out the light was a pouty face and the words that spilled out of his mouth..... "this isn't fair"! Let me tell you what isn't fair...... up at 3am with my almost 3 year old and 5 year old. I guess in a way they are prepping me for the interrupted sleep that will be invading our house in almost 5 months!!

That's funny...I can see the funny in that where you might not be able to yet! I, too, wonder how often he has done that. Certainly didn't seem foreign to him to have cereal and all! You'll be able to keep that under control while you are up with the baby.
Oh, that is too good! Isaac is such a character! I bet he kept wondering when the rest of you were going to be getting up! :-)
