Julia's Drawings

As I was getting ready just now, Julia came in to talk to me. She loves to do this and I equally love her company. She wanted to show me a picture she drew of a 3 story house. First floor was for Caleb, second floor for her, and the third floor was for Isaac. She started to tell me that when she grows up she wants to live close to her brothers, like next door close. She said she wants me to live next door too! She told me that when she is finished teaching her kids school they could just come over to my house to play in the afternoon. I said, "Yes and I could have fresh baked cookies....." She stopped me mid-sentence with a very serious look on her face. "Mama, don't spoil my kids too much." I had a hard time not laughing right then and there. She is so precious.

If you look closely you will see that Caleb has his DD, Julia has her Baby, and Isaac has his Bear.

This drawing is one she did a few weeks ago.  It was a small drawing so the scan is not so great.I added the text as Julia named the people in her picture.

Take a close look at this picture. Does she know something we don't or is it just wishful thinking?

She told me that the baby is a girl. Of course she wants a little sister! I asked her what she would say if God gave her another brother. (no I am not pregnant) She said she wouldn't like that because Isaac already bosses her around and three brothers would be too much. Oh, how she makes me laugh!
