A Visit to see Grammy and Grandaddy

We ended our Spring Break last week with a trip to see my parents in Coleman while Gabe was backpacking in Big Bend National Park. We had a great visit. My Dad and I took the kids fishing Saturday morning. My parents gave Isaac a new fishing pole for his birthday and he was excited to try it out. Julia had fun with her princess fishing pole as well. It was fun to watch them. After awhile they both gave up on the fish and began collecting shells and building rock houses. I immensely enjoyed watching them play as I talked to my Dad. Throughout the weekend, my Mom and I also had some great time together. She taught me how to crochet, something I have been wanting to learn. I don't what kind of student I was, but she was a great teacher. Thanks Mom and Dad for hosting us. We  had a fabulous weekend.

Caleb had so much fun wrestling with my Dad. I think the feeling was mutual.

Teaching the kids to play baseball. How Caleb ended up with the heaviest and most dangerous bat (in his hands anyway) , I am not sure.
