Rough Morning, Delightful Afternoon

After taking a week off for Spring Break I knew it wouldn't be easy to get the kids back into the home school groove. But they proved me wrong on Monday and did everything without complaint. It was just a smoke screen for the reality check on Tuesday. Tons of whining, arguing, and all that goes with that. After awhile, I just needed to get out of the house and break the cycle. So after Isaac's well check up (he is doing well, tall for his age, and is about to loose yet another tooth) we headed to the library and park for an impromptu picnic and play time. We were the only ones there and had the run of the place. We chased, we played hide and seek, we talked and laughed. Very needed and appreciated after the morning we had. I love that we have the freedom with home school to just take off and take a break for a bit if needed. I am counting my homeschooling blessings!
