20 weeks - Half Way There!!!

Today is the day!!!!!! I am 20 weeks pregnant. (yes, I am such a dork for taking a picture of my hands!!!!) Gabe, the kids, and I will be heading off to the doctor in a few hours for my appointment and sonogram. Julia is convinced that she is going to have a little sister. She even told me earlier that there will not be two girls in our family anymore, but will be three with the baby. Hmm..... we'll see! Isaac is still hoping for a brother. Let's just hope the baby cooperates and lets us "see"!!!

Here are the results of our poll....

It is still one up for a boy, 7 to 6. Can't wait to find out!!!

I have been feeling pretty good lately. Even the sciatica has lessened, as long as I don't over do it. When it does flare up it is easily resolved with some rest and a heating pad. And my ol' buddy fatigue still sneaks in and gets me in the afternoons.

The baby has been a movin' and a groovin'! The kicks and bumps are getting more and more pronounced. Gabe even got to feel the baby kick last week. I love that moment when he gets to be involved with the pregnancy on a whole new level and it is more real to him.

Braxton Hicks contractions have already started as well. Little stronger than I experienced when pregnant with Julia. (never had them when pregnant with Isaac) Guess my body knows the drill and is gearing up early!

And now for our fruity comparison....the baby is now the size of a cantaloupe!!!!
We are definitely on our way to watermelon status. Long way from raspberry, huh?!

Check back in later tonight or tomorrow for the RESULTS!!!
