For His Cause

This morning God has placed before me two different situations that need our attention. The first of which is from my sister-in-law, April. She lost her sister to cancer several years ago and will be running in memory of her sister Alayna for the Treatment of Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in October. This is a fundraiser to raise money for research, treatment, education, and patient family support. This, of course, hits closer to home for us because we hurt with and for April when she lost her beloved sister. So please go here and read more about how you can help.

The second situation has to do with a fellow Colemanite (I grew up in Coleman, TX), Rory Dela Rosa. I just found out today that they lost their daughter to brain cancer two years ago and now Rory is fighting the same disease. Heartbreaking to say the absolute least. Please go here to read more about the battle they are facing and how you can help.

It is troubling when faced with this fallen world showing its face through disease. It is hard to comprehend, but I do know this....

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4

Cheryl thank you! I read about the family that lost their little girl to brain cancer and it's such a sad story! I appreciate your plug for LLS, it means the world to me!
