Since we had to take an impromptu trip to Coleman, some of our Easter plans got pushed back, but we will continue to learn and celebrate through next week. We were given the gift of Resurrection Eggs by Family Life Ministries and Ben and Lisa DeBusk. (thank you Ben and Lisa!!!) We are only on day 4, but have enjoyed spending the time with the kids exploring God's love for us and his plan of redemption and salvation through Jesus Christ.
We also plan to make the Easter story cookies. I have not tried this recipe before. I will let you know how it goes!
Today we went to church and then came home to have our Easter egg hunt at the house! After a short altercation with Julia (she came dangerously close to missing out on all the fun), we got started and the kids had a great time. And of course, Gabe and I had fun watching them!

Looks like you had the same great day we had! I am glad you liked the Resurrection Eggs! We love them and love giving them to those who don't have any...they really get the story don't they? Happy Easter!
