A Boy and His Dog
I don't know if it is because Caleb has been around Oliver since birth or if Caleb is just a natural animal lover, but my little boy adores our dog and always has. In a few short weeks we will be celebrating Caleb's 2nd birthday and thought it fitting to have a puppy party. While the big kids were at camp this week, I took Caleb and Oliver to the park and was able to snap a few shots of them together. Not an easy task. They are both always on the move. When Caleb was "walking" Oliver, it was quite funny because I soon questioned who was walking who. As Oliver investigated the park he lifted a leg to mark every few steps. Caleb followed right behind him and lifted his leg too. It was so funny! I tried to get it on video but always seemed to miss the moment. It warms my heart to see the affection Caleb has for Oliver. I hope they will always be buddies!

Love those pictures! I can't believe that he is already going to be 2.
I love the relationship our kids had with their 4 legged furry friends. For a while I think that Mickey thought she was a dog. She has a great love for animals and I love that.
