For the last year and a half I have been reading the Chronicles of Narnia series to Isaac and Julia. We have had countless memorable moments snuggled on the couch reading about the adventures in Narnia. A few days ago we finally read the last chapter of the series. Julia actually cried when we finished. I guess she too cherished these moments together and didn't want it to end. She has such a tender heart. I reassured them both that though Narnia is a great book there are many others we can read together and what matters is the time we spend together. So next on our reading list is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and then maybe James and the Giant Peach. I am delighted that my children enjoy listening to these stories as much as I enjoy reading to them.
